Divine Miss M is Devine
Actually, she is AMAZING!!!!!!! - yes, those are seven exclamation points. We just got back, it's after midnight here in Vegas and I'm really tired and really stoked.

The morning was spent in exploration of the Miracle Mile of Shops - it started as a search for a cheap breakfast. Like the proverbial free lunch, it's not possible. At four we caught the monorail to Caesar's Palace (actually to the Flamingo, then you have to cross the street from the Flamingo - the Flamingo currently has a ten-story projection of Donny and Marie on it; incredible) and got to poke around the "Forum" of Shops (I got new earrings) play penny slots - won $8, then 6 cents, then one cent and then we called it quits.

At 5:15 we were sat for dinner at the Mesa Grill. This dinner and show package was the very best thing we could have ever done. Appetizer, main course and dessert - when we get back there will be a pic spam of dishes almost too pretty to eat and just delicious! Afterwards we went to the Colosseum arena and here's where more than Serendipity came into play because our rear orchestra seats were five rows from stage left. Marirose was stunned. We booked this show in December and the seats looked nowhere near as close as we were.

Oh, I suspect our personal angel had a hand in this - and sat back and laughed at his daughter's reaction.

The show was INCREDIBLE! She did 90-minutes with her back-up singers "The Staggering Harlettes" and "the Caesar's Salad Girls"(served up with as little dressing as possible) and got breathless a couple of times. ("This happens when you sing your own songs," she cracked.) AND THEN!

There was an autograph session after the show - nothing about this on the website, we picked the right night which was another stunner. It took over two hours to get through the line, worth it, worth it. We both said we enjoyed the show and thanked her.

If it's true she's retiring when the run ends at January 31 - then she's going out on a sweet note.

Sounds like you had a great day! I've never played penny slots, but the nickle ones are loads of fun and cheap if you are on a losing streak.
